Here in the Pacific Northwest, home of Big Moon Beeswax, our valleys are bursting with shades of pink, purple and creamy white lavender during the warm summer months. Western Washington is home to many lavender farms and celebrates their beauty by hosting the annual Sequim Lavender Festival. Each summer, visitors come to our area to experience nature's floral artwork, pick their own lavender and breathe in the soothing fragrance.
Seeing such natural beauty is awe-inspiring and we must thank those tiny foragers, the honeybees, for making this flower art possible.
In honor of the honeybees, one of our Summer's limited-edition candles is our lavender themed pillar. Designed right here in our studio, our lavender pillar features delicate stalks of lavender with our signature bee buzzing about. If you’ve seen real bees flitting through lavender, it almost looks as if the lavender is dancing as it sways back and forth. It inspired us to call this pillar, “Bees Dancing with Lavender.”
Made with 100% pure Pacific Northwest beeswax, our lavender themed pillars have a delicate honey scent that was added by the bees themselves. No added fragrances, no chemicals or preservatives: just pure, natural beeswax. Our candles are safe to burn around anyone that has sensitivities to artificial fragrances or strong scents.
As with all pillars, please burn on a fire-proof pillar plate.
One hand poured 2-1/4” x 4” diameter pillar (lavender not included).
