Why does ivory beeswax cost a little more than yellow?
Even though it's the same wax, it takes multiple filtration steps to remove the honey color. Beeswax is actually an ivory color when the bees make it in the hive, but all the honey that is stored in the wax turns it a golden color. To get the beeswax back to its original ivory color it has to be filtered enough times to remove the color but still leave the honey scent. That takes time and time is money.

Allow the lit votive to burn a minimum of an hour each time you light it to prevent tunneling. Burn in a snug-fitting votive holder as votives are considered a container candle and not a pillar.
