I have been buying these candles for the past 6 years now, and they can't be beat. I've been gifted or tried others. There is no comparison. My husband and I are sensitive and don't like or tolerate scents well. Beeswax candles are the healthiest cleanest option and in doing my research I discovered Big Moon. Sometimes there is a scent, but it is a natural sweet aroma, extremely mild, and we adore it. These are high quality and beautiful. When the pillars melt and start to fall apart it is like a piece of artwork. In fall and winter, when it is always dark when we get up in the morning, we light a Big Moon votive and drink our coffee. Most mornings without even a lamp. It's divine! I am sounding like a commercial now but these are wonderful Holiday gifts. I love that this business is family owned. They are easy to contact and quick to ship.
My first order was in 2020 I really love the beautiful candles and the designs I have tried all the candles the votives,tea lights moondrops, pillars I really love the filigree heart mini pillar first time ordering this candle it looks like rolled beeswax and it burned all the way to the bottom the wicks are the best I have ever seen or have used you will not be disappointed in any of bigmoon candles you have a customer for life I tried one other beeswax company and they don't compare to big moon beeswax candles and the natural scent of the candles are wonderful
I received my fall candle recently and I've been burning it almost every day for several hours because I love how it smells! The leaf pattern is clear and elegant. The wick is straight and burns cleanly. But, guys, the smell! Prior to burning it didn't smell like anything. That wasn't a big deal for me because I prefer unscented candles. However, once I burned it, there was this lovely, very mild honey smell. Just enough that you're not overpowered, but enough that you can catch the occasional whiff. After burning, the smell remained in the candle wax. I periodically pick it up and sniff it because it smells so nice. I live some place that doesn't experience Fall these days, but it reminds me of growing up on the East Coast near meaderies and apple orchards just as the leaves turn. Nice memories. <3
I have already written a few reviews for some other the other sizes that I have purchased from Big Moon. All of their candles are high quality well crafted beeswax candles that burn evenly and give off a pleasant honey scent. I really like the different designs that they have to purchase. So, depending on the season or your mood, you have options to pick from. A great candle company. I am enjoying burning them all around my house.
For many years I burnt candles around my house mostly scented ones. But after a few hours I would have to put them out because they would make my head and throat feel bad. I switched to oil candles and they were pretty good, but they had a faint oil scent which was not pleasant. They were the number one recommended brand for 100 percent beeswax. I have ordered a couple of different sizes to find the best ones for me. I really like this 3x5 pillar candle. It burns evenly and smells amazing with a faint scent of warm honey. Since I like to burn candles all day and almost everyday, I chose this pillar because of it's long burning time. They emit a beautiful golden glow and warm honey scent. I have finally found a candle that doesn't make me feel bad. The candles arrive beautifully packaged with earth friendly packaging and a little extra gift of thanks. I really like this company and will be supporting them for life. Because I never want to run out of these candles. They are more expensive than other candles, but not feeling ill after a few hours is worth it. My house is my sanctuary and now it feels like it. A very happy customer.
